My journey of attaining mindful living …

Well 2018 has hands down definitely been one of the hardest years of my life. The most important reason of that being living in the fear of losing my dream forever but here i am in final few days of 2018,cherishing the year for all that it has taught me.

You know we all are hustling everyday for a life of our dreams and its easy to forget why?We attach our state of minds with this situation that we are in or our goals or our financial status or whatever suits our ego.But the truth be told our so called “happiness” can never be found in anything but inside.When we work on establishing this connection of our minds with our body,we understand our self a little better,we become calmer and understand there’s so much more to life than these shallow beliefs of ours.Yes, its already talked about enough but here is my voyage with mindfulness .

The state of being present in the moment,right now is the idea behind mindfulness.Meditation is the way of attaining mindful living.There is enough literature explaining that beautifully so i don’t really need to get into that.

My journey began sometime a year back in November 2017, when i took the decision of getting into meditation. It was a very demanding phase of my life and we all know desperate times call for desperate measures so i was ready to do anything to get my mind at ease. Initially it was really hard.I would sit down for like 5 min on a day every week or so.Then i got into guided mediation videos on you tube and the Head space app.When a guiding voice directs you, the task of concentrating becomes a lot easier.I started to get more involved into this.

When i started i would feel better may be for sometime after i was done with the meditation session. But as i started to increase the duration and frequency of the sessions ,i started to enjoy the time during which i meditated and also felt better after the session for a longer time as well.

You see it’s not like this magic which happens overnight but once it becomes a habit you realize the idea of mindfulness can completely change your perspective on life that too for the best ,believe me.I am still working on it everyday and it’s a beautiful journey that i think everyone should become a part of.

    Thank you. I am happy to see your  writing. It gives me a thoughtful thinking and am  happy for that. That is always my intention to see a post that gives me happiness.
